Aims and Scope

The journal’s goal is to publish the results of scientific research on current issues in history; to promote the development of international scientific cooperation, strengthen the role and significance of historical knowledge in society, and address current issues in historical science.

The journal covers scientific works on world history, the history of Kazakhstan, archaeology and ethnology, historical anthropology, historiography and source studies, and other areas of historical science.

The journal’s objectives are to create an open platform for scientific discussion among scholars; to increase the accessibility of research results and facilitate the exchange of knowledge and professional experience among researchers; and to shape a new perspective on history based on contemporary scientific approaches and a wide range of historical sources.
